Texting Video Templates

The hard part of a texting story is the first draft, not the editor. Each template opens with a written scene already in it — real names, real pacing, a beat that lands. Change what you want and export.

Starting from a template

A template is a starting scene, not a locked layout. Opening one drops the whole conversation into the editor — every message, the order it arrives in, who is typing and for how long. Nothing is fixed: rename the participants, cut the lines that do not fit, add your own ending, and switch the theme underneath it if the story belongs in a different app.

What a template mostly saves you is pacing. A texting video lives or dies on timing — how long a typing indicator hangs before the reply lands, where the silence goes, which message gets a beat of its own. That rhythm is the part that takes practice, and it is already set here. Rewriting the words on top of working timing is a much shorter job than building both at once.

If none of the five fits what you are making, the story formats pages cover the common shapes — horror, POV, group chat, prank, AI-written — and the guides walk through building one from an empty editor.
